How We Rank Mabati Factories
This ranking exists because every other "best mabati" list in Kenya is published by a company selling its own sheets. Ours is not. We do not manufacture, sell, or hold stock of mabati, and no factory can pay to move up or down this table.
The four signals
We rank on four public signals:
- The factory's current Google rating (out of 5).
- How many reviews it has, because a rating from 1,000 reviews is more reliable than one from 10.
- How recent those reviews are, so a factory's current experience counts more than its history.
- Whether the Google listing is claimed and managed, because an unclaimed listing means complaints go unanswered.
Where the data comes from
Data is pulled from public Google Maps listings via DataForSEO and refreshed every quarter. The last pull was 16 July 2026.
Our commitments
- We do not accept payment to change any position. Ever.
- No "featured", "sponsored" or partner badge ever appears on this ranking or on any star rating.
- If a factory believes its data is wrong, it can write to us and we will re-check against Google. We will correct errors. We will not sell positions.
That last point is the whole point of us. The ranking is worth more to buyers precisely because it cannot be bought.
