Privacy Policy

The short version

Mabati.ke does not collect personal data. There is no contact form, no quote form, no newsletter, no account and no login on this site. We do not ask for your name, phone number or email, and we have no way to receive them.

What we do collect

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to see how many people visit and which pages are read. This records standard, non-identifying information such as pages viewed, approximate location by region, device type and referring site. IP addresses are handled by Google in line with their own policies. We do not combine this with anything else, because we hold nothing else.

We also record when a visitor clicks through to a listed company’s website, so we know which listings are useful. That records the destination and the page it was clicked from, not who clicked it.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits. You can block or delete these in your browser settings with no loss of function on this site.

Links to other websites

Every listing links to a company’s own website. Once you follow that link, you are on their site and their privacy policy applies, not ours. We have no visibility of, and no responsibility for, what happens there.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act 2019 you have rights of access, correction and deletion over personal data held about you. As we hold no personal data about visitors, there is nothing for us to retrieve, amend or erase. For the analytics data described above, those requests go to Google as the processor.

Changes

If this site ever starts collecting personal data, this page will be updated before that happens.
