We Ranked 18 Mabati Factories by Google Reviews: The Full Data

We pulled public Google Maps review data for 18 Kenyan mabati factories. The result contradicts the advertising: the most famous names are not the best-rated. Here is the full data, and why it matters for anyone about to buy a roof.

The headline

Royal (4.2 from 1,012 reviews) and MRM (4.3) are the most-reviewed and most-advertised factories, but several mid-size factories out-rate them: Capital sits at 4.7, Boma at 4.6 and Kidani at 4.5. Bigger, it turns out, is not better.

Why publish this at all

What buyers should take from it

Do not choose a factory on brand fame alone. Compare the real review scores, then go to each company’s own website and ask two or three of them directly before committing. The best-rated option is often a value factory you have not heard of.

Two warnings in the data
