Gauge 30 is the most common house roofing gauge in Kenya. Expect KSh 480 to 650 per metre for box profile G30, and less for corrugated. Prices below were compiled this month from published sources. The main risk is gauge 32 being sold to you as gauge 30, so we cover that up front. We do not sell mabati.

The gauge 32-sold-as-30 warning
This is the most common mabati trick. Gauge 32 is thinner and cheaper than gauge 30, and the difference is hard to see by eye. Ask for the gauge in writing and the stated steel thickness (genuine G30 is about 0.30mm). If a G30 price is far below the range above, it may actually be G32.
